Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Reevy is a personal macOS tool used by Captured in Motion to edit dance festival videos and publish them to its own Instagram account. There is no public sign-up and no other users.

Who is responsible

Captured in Motion, Novi Sad, Serbia. Contact: [email protected].

What data Reevy handles

Google user data

Reevy asks only for the drive.file permission: it can see only the files it uploaded itself, not the rest of the Drive. These files are used to publish videos the owner scheduled on Instagram. Reevy’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared with third parties except Meta for the post the owner scheduled, and never used to train AI models.

Instagram and Meta

Reevy uses Meta’s official Instagram API to publish content to the owner’s own professional account. Reevy never sees an Instagram or Facebook password — only an access token from Meta’s login, which is stored encrypted and refreshed before it expires.

Where data is stored

On the owner’s Mac (secrets in the macOS Keychain), in the owner’s Google Drive, and on a private server in the EU (European Union) that holds only the database — no video files. Traffic is protected by Cloudflare.

How long

Tokens are kept while an account is connected and deleted when it is disconnected. Logs are kept for up to 90 days. Videos in Google Drive stay under the owner’s control.

People in the videos

Videos are published on the Captured in Motion account. If you appear in a video and want it removed, write to [email protected] and it will be taken down.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection you can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its use. Write to [email protected].
